On The Map

In Israel, times were grim and the fears for survival were pervasive. A distraction might be an antidote. Monsieur Mayonnaise

Philippe discovers that truth is stranger than fiction as he uncovers the story behind his father's code name. What is not known is George's dramatic role as a resistance fighter. He earned his code name for devising an ingenious method for fooling border guards and the entire Third Reich by stuffing secret documents inside baguettes with lashings of dribbling, garlicky, sticky mayonnaise.
